I plan on upgrading my T440p with an SSD as soon as I get it. When selecting a HDD, do I need select an SSD option or just stick with the standard HDD(if it can be replaced later).
Can someone please suggest me some SSD drives that work with the 440p. There are some suggestions on the forum for 440s, will those recommendations hold true for 440p too?

I'm using 2 sandisk extreme ii's... I've been really happy with them so far
My other machine (dell m6600) has an 840 pro and a sandisk extreme (first ver)...
Really any modern ssd will be fast enough

i recently got t440p (4700qm, 8DDR3, 1TB sata, win7) and wanted to know whether i could upgrade it with an internal and/or external SSD drive(before upgrading it to win8.1).
thanks in advance
P.S: does external SSD mean that it has be taken through the smart card reader?
and does t440p support both sata and internal SSD?
