My T440s' (20AQ) fingerprint reader constantly failed to be recognized by Windows 10. The system has been updated to the latest status with Windows Update and Lenovo System Update.
The LED of fingerprint reader does not blink at logon screen. Device manager cannot recognize its VID or Hardware ID. Resetting BIOS worked at beginning, but no longer work today. Separately resetting fingerprint reader in BIOS prompt "No Fingerprint reader attached" message.
In addition, I was trying to get a support ticket, but lenovo.com said my serial number is invalid. I have double checked the serial number in BIOS/Lenovo solution center and sticker. They are all the same.
Does anyone have similar issue? I know I'm not alone.
