T450 keyboard - how to remove rubber stoppers

A technician replaced my T450 keyboard under warranty since it was having some problems, but ever since the top left corner of the keyboard is a bit loose.  When I hit, say, the ESC key, it depresses a little bit which isn't a function problem, but rather an annoyance.  So I went to the hardware maintenance manual, and tried to follow the steps, but for the life of me can't figure out how to remove those 2 little rubber stoppers under the battery!  I tried gently pushing on them as shown in the picture, but I seem to keep pushing them in further instead of them coming out.  Has anyone got any hints on how to actually get those little buggers out, so that I can try to reset my keyboard?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi rcspencer1,

Here's a pretty good video showing how to do that.

Re: T450 keyboard - how to remove rubber stoppers

Perfect!  Thanks so much for this, Dave.  That's the way I was trying but the little buggers just wouldn't pop out and I ended up ripping one of them, but I'll try again and maybe replace them at some point.

Thanks again for your help - much appreciated!
