The initial setup of the FP sensor for Power On PW in Bios and also for logon to Win 10 went smooth.
However, it happens in a few days already 3 times that the re logon to Windows after time controlled lock of Windows with FP sensor didn't work.
After signing on manually to Windowsusing the keyboard the FP sensor had an error code 45 in the device manager, "currently this hardware device is NOT connected. To fix this problem, reconnect the hardware device."
My workaround is shutting down the machine, fire up again, go in Bios settings, just walk through Security Fingerprint settings, change nothing, but nevertheless save changes and let it boot again.
The logon process to Windowws then works again and the FP sensor no longer has the error code in the device manager.
The workaround works, but is of course annoying anyway...
Any idea how to fix this?
