T460P: "+/-" keyboard to change values in the bios

Hi all.

I'm setting up my new T460P to substitute my glorious W520, and I'm very sad about the choise at the moment.

I cannot figure out how to change the boot order in the BIOS.

I get into the bios (not so easy and not so stable...), go to the boot order and then... I should press the "+ or -" key to move the objects up and down through the list.

I tried everything. I think near any combination of keys, but nothing.

I cannot find the right key combination to send the "+" or "-".

Could you please help me to change the values in the BIOS of my T460P?

Thank you very much!

Re: T460P: "+/-" keyboard to change values in the bios

Hi NetJO,

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.

As I understand that you have query regarding combination keys to change BIOS values in T460p

Please try with F5 and F6 and update us how it goes and

Note - If Fn lock key is Enabled press directly F5 and F6 else try with Fn+F5 and Fn+F6

I hope the above information helped you.

Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Regards,
Prabhansh

Re: T460P: "+/-" keyboard to change values in the bios

Do you have an Italian keyboard installed?  In BIOS the US keyboard layout is active.

So you need to press other keys.  Usually "-"  is the key right to the "0" (zero) key, and

"+" is next key to the right + shift

here is a nice overview of all kind of qwerty keyboard layouts.

Re: T460P: "+/-" keyboard to change values in the bios

for the record,

the first answer suggesting to use F5/F6 instead is also correct.

Maybe it would be a good idea to have a hint for F5/F6  in bios.
