I am using T40s since last 2 years. For the last few months, my T40s hangs suddenly when I move it. Gradually, I have noticed that this happens when I pick it up by holding it near and to the left side of mousepad. It does nt hand when I pick it up by holding at other location. Yesterday, it also showed a blue screen when this happened with a stop code IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Please advise on what is going on with my T460s and what should I do.

Hi CSS1! Welcome to our forums community. COuld you try running the update from the Lenovo Vantage app. You can download it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/lenovo-vantage/9wzdncrfj4mv?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab. Install all updates. Also Verify that your PC has the latest Windows updates. Select the Start button and then in the search box next to Start, type Windows update. If the issue persist, try running the hardware test from the same app to make sure there are no hardware failure on the laptop. Update us how it goes.

Are you still under warranty? If yes, call support. I cannot be sure without seeing it. It might be a cracked trace on the motherboard, but it could also be something like memory not making good contact in the socket when the case is flexed. I would reseat the memory and check and re-do all the cable connections near the middle of the machine (not inside the screen assembly).
