for our company we have multiple versions of the Thinkpad T470.
Some are touch, some are non-touch.
Now for a repair of a non-touch T470, i want to replace this with a LCD WITH touch.
Until now there is no working LCD with touch.
On the Part-website of Lenovo i found the following:
Non-touch LCD-cable : 00UR481
Touch LCD-cable : 00UR484
The cables look the same...but are they same?
is every T470 motherboard capable for Touch LCD ? Or is also another motherboard needed?

No, MotherBoard will be not a problem, the LCD cable end where it will goes in LCD panel is different as compare to Non-Touch Models. The other end which will connect to Motherboard will be same for both Touch and Non-touch panels.

There are leads in the touch cable that are not connected in the non-touch.
