You said yours was the same height in relation to the chassis all the way around though didn't you?  Does this pic of mine look different, bearing in mind it's dropped by 1-2mm at the bottom?

No, mine isn't that bad.  It is a moot point anyway, because if it isn't clicking or registering when you press it, its broke or binding somewhere.

True.

 

They've agreed to have it back and replace it, but that's going to take 7-10 days apparently.  I've asked for it to be escalated, but it's out of my hands now.

 

Very frustrating.

No problem.  Make a note of the serial number before you return it, just to see if they really replaced it.
