Rydeen or other Lenovo employees:
Could you please let everyone know when there will be a fix to the BIOS that solves this problem with the system not recognizing M.2 2242 SSD in the wireless WAN-card slot. Your latest post says it will be resolved in early September. But, when will it find its way into a BIOS update or whatever other kind of solution is required. It does not appear the the 1.32 BIOS version fixed the problem.

I never had this problem with my 2242 SSD brand, but for others, I see that they just released BIOS (1.39) that has a fix. Watch, It will probably break my SSD card, or some new bugs will crop up, so I am staying away from it for a while until there is some history.

To all who experienced this problem: I have installed BIOS 1.39 and my Transcend 256Gb drive (TS256GMTS400) is now recognized and works fine. I had no problem installing the BIOS update using the Lenovo BIOS utility, and as soon as I rebooted the system my Transcend drive showed up.
That makes me one satisfied and happy customer. Thank you for fixing this Lenovo, and thank you Rydeen for keeping us up to date on the resolution of this problem over the past few months!
