I've been using a T470p at work for a few months now and only now I noticed that very often the CPU is throttled by the OS.
I'm running Fedora 29 and this endless list of event is reported very often (I'm a coder and basically everytime I compile those type of events are triggered). See attached screenshot.
Now I've searched around and this seem to be a common issue, which was apparently fixed in some BIOS updates. Well my BIOS is up to date and I still have the problem. I also went into the BIOS to reset parameters to default after updating. However the problem persists.
sudo fwupdmgr get-updates
No upgrades for 20J60042MZ System Firmware, current is 0.1.27: 0.1.24=older, 0.1.27=same
No upgrades for Unifying Receiver, current is RQR12.07_B0029: RQR12.07_B0029=same
Any help would be appreciated.
