I recently received a T470p and just tried to watch a movie in my home theatre with it. I connected it to my receiver with a perfectly fine HDMI cable. The picture is there, but the sound is not. The only option my Lenovo is giving me is to play the sound thru the built in speakers while sending the video to the receiver. What am I missing here? Is the T470p not able to send audio via HDMI?

Windows doesn't make it easy. Try right-clicking the speaker icom in the lower right with the HDMI connection hooked up.. Select playback devices and make HDMI the default.

Thank you for the suggestion! I already checked there and I don't have that option. HDMI doesn't show up.
But I actually found a fix (kind of) by accident. If I reboot the pc with the HDMI connected to either the TV or the receiver, it works.
