T470s SSD Replacement Upgrade

2019-02-01, 21:50 PM

Hello everyone,

I currently have a T470s laptop, model 20JTS04Y00, 256 GB M.2 SSD. I am wanting to upgrade the SSD to 500GB. Right now I am looking at getting the Samsung 970 EVO 500GB NVEe PCIe M.3 2280 SSD. According to the research I've done, this SSD should work with my laptop. I am looking to see if anybody can confirm this for me before I make the purchase.

Has anyone else used this particular SSD with a T470s laptop? Or is there a better SSD that anyone would recommend?

I'm just looking for something that is fast and reliable.

Thanks everyone!

Samsung just introduced a 970 EVO Plus. I believe it might give you a little better speeds than the plain 970 EVO.
