T470s Series debug menu?

2019-02-26, 22:05 PM

Long story, but we're having some issues with Lenovo T470s laptops that, when docked, the external

monitors (NEC Multi-sync monitors) do not turn on - the amber light is on and you have to pull the power cable

to drain all power.

We've tried numerous troubleshooting steps; updating BIOS, chipset, critical driver updates etc...  Found a forum

where they suggested the issue may be with Thunderbolt BIOS settings, so updated those.

Another tech on our team contacted Lenovo at one point and was told there is a "debug" menu that is accessible

by a series of keystrokes, and once in you can adjust a setting for the screen to delay timeout.

Unfortunately, the info given to our tech by the lenovo tech didn't work - you are supposed to press  input then

menu, then the right arrow twice, or something to that effect.

Anyway, is there such a thing as a debug menu on the T470s Series, and if so, how would one access it?
