I recently bought a ThinkPad T480.
With the device everything is fine and I think it's really great. But one thing bothers me a lot now:
As soon as the audio chip is active, the built-in speakers will rustle. The set volume does not matter, they always sound the same.
The noise occurs both in the BIOS, as well as in Windows, if the speakers are not muted. Also, the loudspeakers rustle for about 3 seconds after an audio output has been made.
The noise is only there when the audio chip is active. (For example, on YouTube a video in the browser, then the noise is also active in a paused video)
Since I am relatively sensitive to this, that bothers me. Does your T480 that too? Then would contact the Lenovo (%) service or have the device replaced by the dealer.
