T480s Extra screen

Hi,

We are using T480s (20L7001VMX), W10 1803 and have a screen problem. The computer is closed but it still detects it as a screen. Every time we restart the computer we get an extra screen. The T480s is in a docking station (40A90090EU), (40A10065EU). The T480s is closed but it still detects it as a screen. We can open the laptop and the close it and the extra screen disappear. We have tried different docking stations, screens, T480s and it’s the same behaviour.

/Martin

Re: T480s Extra screen

Hi Martin,

Greetings from Lenovo.

Does this issue occurs only when the machine is connected to the docking station? Have you tried updating the drivers? Also, boot the machine into safe mode and check if the issue persists.

Re: T480s Extra screen

Does this also happen if you change BIOS setting for  'Boot Display Device'  to 'external display' ?

Re: T480s Extra screen

Dear customer,

development team identified the issue on T480s and is working to prepare the solution by BIOS update.

Please wait for a moment.
