failed bios update getting beeps only

tried to update my bios and it failed now its dead and is just beeping,my warranty is long expired,is there any way to initiate the boot block.pliz help

i have the same problem my t500 just beeps 1 long 2 short  is there any way to flash the bios.there is a boot image on ibm site but does not boot.pliz need help

the beep sequence means a problem with motherboard or ram.

tried to update bios for t500 in windows 7 and the machine froze and stopped responding the only option was to restart,unfortunately the update was'nt done.the machine is now dead and just beeps 1 long 2 short beeps.is there any way to fix this.pliz help warranty is up and cnt afford another laptop.

Is there any solution for this? Im using t400 please help us we cant afford to buy new laptop. . . My laptop is working in a very good condition ut unfortunately failed bios update. . .Here is the link going to my problem posted here.

Just encountered this same issue when attempting to flash the most current BIOS on a client's T500. I removed the battery, palmrest and keyboard to get to the CMOS battery, which I unplugged for about 5 minutes. Plugged it back in, reassembled, and still was not booting. I held the power button down and it eventually brought up the Lenovo splash screen. I had to do this several times. It then went past that screen and stopped with a message telling me to reset the date. I was then able to enter BIOS setup and set the correct date and time. System then booted normally, although it appears I have to reinstall the nvidia graphics drivers.
