Question

I am using the T500 loaded with Vista Ultimate SP2

 

My system crashes with a message mentioning tcpip.sys.

 

Answer

  1. Ensure you have all drivers updated. Use ThinkVantage System Update and Windows Update to do so.
  2. Update your Antivirus software.
  3. If problem persist, try disabling the Antivirus software you have installed on your laptop.
  4. If by disabling the Antivirus software prevented the crash, do contact the Antivirus software manufacturer to inform them about the issue.
