am in the market for a used T500 on eBay and am looking to get a model with only the intel graphics and an LED backlit display.
If there isn't an exact match in the psref document Is there any way to tell from the machine type model number the different types of backlighting used on that machine? On the parts lookup site https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/partslookup I've noticed the same FRU (13R2449) LCD PARTS for all the different T500 types from the psref document whether they are indicated to be CCFL or LED.
I would have thought a different FRU number would be used for the different types of backlighting used?
Thank you in advance for any further info on this!

The only way to know is the lookup by serial.

OK thanks. Is the serial number displayed on the BIOS screen? I am unable to enter a valid number into the lookup page at least any of the numbers I see on the linked to bios screenshot. Am I missing something?

OK thank you Rich, I appreciate your efforts! :-)
I guess it is really that much of a big deal, I can wait until a model appears for sale that matches a desired model listed in the psref.
