I just got a t500 (used under warranty) and notice my screen occasionally do this when in integrated graphics mode:
Usually I can move a window around the other and it will get redrawn ok, but it's pretty annoying. I don't seem to notice this issue when using the ATI card. Is this a driver problem, ram problem, or videocard problem? Should I send my laptop in to get fixed?
Bonus question: are there any scripts/batch/exe files to trigger switching between discrete / integrated graphics? I really hate the oversized battery icon taskbar toolbar normally used to do the switch.

this is the problem with the Intel integrated graphics used in this class of machine.
To solve this problem ensure your ram pairs are of equal size (so i.e. 1 and 1 gig or 2 and 2 gig, etc)
