I've installed Windows Server 2008 R2. I can turn Intel Virtualization (the BIOS option) on and reboot so long as the Hyper-V role is not installed. When I enable/Install Hyper-V the machine fails to boot. There's no error message, just a black screen.
If I turn Intel Virtualization off I am able to install the Hyper-V role and reboot but Hyper-V doesn't work because Intel Virtualization is not enabled. If I then turn it back on and reboot (with Hyper-V role already installed) I get the same hang, black screen at start up.
What to do?
Windows Server 2008 R2
BIOS Ver 1.35 (current)
