T510: hibernation lets brightness keys crash

[Windows 7 x64]

After I put the T510 in hibernation mode the brightness keys do not work anymore when I resume it. It's not possible to adjust the display brightness anymore. Other hotkeys still work (e.g. thinklight). The drivers are up to date.

Is there some solution for this problem?

Thanks,

Thorsten

You may want to take a look at this thread:

Make sure you have the latest Power Manager and Hotkey Features Integration software installed from here:

Re: T510: hibernation lets brightness keys crash

Thank your for the link. But the conclusion of this thread is only: other people have the same problem, the Lenovo support cannot reproduce the problem. A workaround is to close and open the lid - this works for my T510, too.

Because the problem is not solved by Lenovo since two years I feel that it's time to say good-bye to Lenovo in near future...
