Re: T530 will not shut down

Hi!

this works for me. Uninstalling the intel graphic actually works.

Do I need to reinstall it again or I can go without Intel Graphic now?  I notice that my computer's screen is going dim and bright on occassion is this a problem?  however my computer can now shut down properly now. So thank you!

Re: T530 will not shut down

Hi Sbudirah,

I am glad to hear that your issue has been resolved partly. Yes, you have to reinstall the graphic driver, I suggested you to uninstall it only because I want to confirm whether it is related to drivers or with OS. Regarding the brightness, graphic adapter will be having the control on that. I think the driver which you have installed earlier was not compatible, because it might be incorrect driver version.

Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 8 (32-bit) , Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Hemanth Kumar
