Re: T570

Hi Rocky88,

Warm Greetings & welcome to Lenovo Community, happy to have you here.

Yes, you can add M.2 SSD in the form factor of 2242 like this 00UP432. And also have a look on this thread

I hope the above information helped you.

Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Regards,
Prabhansh

Re: T570

hI Prabhansh,

Thanks for the guidance,.  Please kindly advise if the 00UP432 will be installed in the WWAN slot.

Also If I use 256GB (  4XB0N10299 ), do I install it in the WWAN slot ?

For both drives do I need any bracket/adapter  ?

Thanks

Re: T570

4XB0N10299 is 80mm long.  You need a 42mm drive to fit in the WWAN slot

Re: T570

Thanks,  Richk
I see that SSD ( 4XB0N10299) is listed as compatible to T570.  If I have to take it, where shall I install it ?  Do I have to remove the  factory shipped HD  (  M.2 SSD or HDD )   or can I have them co-exist in the machine ?   Thanks

Re: T570

There is an adapter to allow an 80mm SSD in place of the 2.5" drive.

Re: T570

Well if you want to replace the stock HDD with M.2 2280 SSD then it can be done by using M.2 Adapter (01AY476) and M.2 Adapter Cable (01ER035).

Moreover, if you want two drives for instance HDD+SSD or SSD+SSD, you can use WWAN slot which will take M.2 2242 SSD without any adapters.

Therefore, to conclude yes T570 does support two drives simultaneously.
