Here is my first post. it's related to fingerprint sensor.
Machine is a T570 "out-of-box" with Win 10 PRO. I ran MS Windows updates then Lenovo updates through Lenovo companion program.
I notice after applying proposed fingerprint driver (Synaptics Metallica MOC touch FP driver - V5.2.3515.26) sensor doesn't work anymore ...
To log in I'm forced to use the PIN code or password way. Sensor no longer recognizes my finger. In fact it is the sensor itself that is no longer functional (no light). Obviously before I tried to configure the sensor again but without success ... Using the previous driver through drivers manager, everything works again (5.2.3512)
Has anyone had the same problem?
Thanks in advance

The latest driver is not digitally signed. You have to manually kill driver digitally signing for it to work again.

Do you mean which version driver is not signed?
Below driver "5.2.3515.26" is the newest for Synaptics Metallica MOC touch fingerpirnt. It must be signed and WHQLed, since Lenovo released it publicly.

The picture is for 184.108.40.206.36, which is working for your system.
And do you have screenshot of the failing version(5.2.3515.26)? New version could be updated by Companion.
We have tested internally many times, and did not see this issue in latest version. If this version is not working for your, could you help to give us the same screenshot or give us the failure code shown in driver tab?

So I tried again the 5.2.3515.26 release... and now it works fine. I did several tests with fingerprint sensor and login is Ok. Not sure to understand why last time it didn't work... Since this day I have installed many updates ...???
thank you for your help.
