I have a new T580 laptop that has stopped recognizing devices plugged into the Thunderbolt port. I've tried to update the firmware from https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/HT508988, but the page shows the firmware update as "pending." How can I get it going again?

By the way, when I plug the same Thunderbolt into the USB-C power port, everything loads fine. So the problem seems to be with the Thunderbolt port.
