Just an update on this, Digital River got back to me after a few days and told me to contact Lenovo. Lenovo knew what the issue was and authorised me to return it to Digital River as DOA. I then contacted Digital River who arranged a collection by TNT. The laptop was collected by TNT on December the 27th. Its now January the 9th and I still don't have my refund. I raised a ticket yesterday with Digital River to find out where the latop was and I don't have a response yet.
I understand xmas makes things difficult but even so a month for a return is rather excessive.
