I have ThinkPad T400, which isnt supported on lenovo sites anymore and have problems with drivers or updates BIOS system, cant find nothing safe. I have Windows 10 32-bit and works with small problems, but works quite good. But can try update BIOS for better results.

you should be using the 64-bit version of windows 10
as for a BIOS update, the T400 is ok with the original one, the link is provided for the thread if an update is desired

Intel has to take more responsility to fix security problems. Lenovo needs to also deal with it. Its not right to leave customers twisting in the wind. Laptops are expensive, especially Lenovo

I have some no whitelist ROMs for older Lenovo machines, the UEFI ones are more work to fix that problem but doable
I hate whitlists and eventually I will do somthing Lenovo will not like about it, In Canada it illegal
