Hello, I have been looking aroung and I can't find if my laptop has a discrete graphics card, and if not, how I can add one.
Through many topics I found that there shoudl be one gpu nvidia 940m that is compatible with this laptop type, and on the specs page of the laptop i found this info: "Discrete with docking" and I don't know what it means. If somebody can help me, I would be thankful.
I suspect I don't have the discrete gpu, but how can I add one?

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.
It will be much helpful if you can provide the Machine Type Model of your system to confirm, and in case if system is not shipped with Discrete Graphics card, adding one is not possible as generally it comes soldered to Motherboard.
I hope the above information helped you.
Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

it is easier to understand the "not upgradable" statement when you learn that there is not a graphics card, but a graphics chip
