I have been having my T460 (20FN003LUK) for 6 months. During that time I have never worried about bluetooth. Recently I just purchased a bluetooth headset for my phone. Then I had a thought to try using the headset with my T460. I've been looking in the control panel and device manager but I couldn't find any bluetooth setting. I searched online for solutions but I got more confused.
So I was wondering if my particular model ThinkPad T460 (20FN003LUK) does not support bluetooth. Can somebody enlighten me on this?
Thank you so much!

It is supposed to have Bluetooth according the specs, so I would start by making sure it is enabled in the BIOS (Setup) on your system. You should be able to enter Setup by pressing F12 during boot, and then I believe it would be under Config >> Network >> Internal Bluetooth Device Enable/Disable
If it is enabled and still not shownng, try downloading and installing the latest Bluetooth and Chipset drivers from Lenovo using the links below.

Intel(R) Chipset Device Software for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad T460, X260
Another option is to install and run the Lenovo System Update Utility and update your system automatically, which might be a good Idea if you have never done so.

Thank you for your response, JDGilis!
I have checked and made sure bluetooth is enabled in the BIOS. Actually I am using windows 7 pro. I think it would be worth trying to upgrade to windows 10 and see if I can get bluetooth working.

I didn't know I have to enable bluetooth functionality using F8 wireless key
Now bluetooth is working fine.
Thank you again, JDGilis!
