I have a ThinkPad T540P and decived to install some driver updates using the Lenovo System Update app. After updating the highlighted list of drivers in the attached image I began having issues with the computer crashing when entering or waking from sleep.
Sometimes it appeared to crash while entering sleep it would hang with the red light still solid on the computer, but wouldn't respond. Othertimes it would wake, but I would just get a black screen or a cursor. Sometimes it even hands on restarting.
Any suggestions what I can do here?

First, look in the event log. The failing device is probably throwing a message.

Reinstalling the Lenovo Power Management Driver from the Lenovo website (vs. the system update app) appears to have resolved the issue. Laptop sleeps and resumes as expected.
