Thinkpad T410 and intermittent BSOD Windows 7

I am getting intermittent BSODs on my Thinkpad T410.  I am running windows 7 and the computer has been checked multiple ways for latest drivers, memory errors and harddisk errors.   Also have had minidumps analyzed by volunteer on answers.microsoft.com.   I am looking for anyone who may have insight into this issue.

Any help appreciated.

What message are you getting on the blue screen? Have you tried reloading factory OS?

Is SP1 installed?

Look in the event log to see if there is anything about what driver is throwing the error.

Re: Thinkpad T410 and intermittent BSOD Windows 7

I don't know if this is the issue or not, but I have found the following error in the security log in event viewer.

--------------------
Code Integrity determined that the page hashes of an image file are not valid. The file could be improperly signed without page hashes or corrupt due to unauthorized modification. The invalid hashes could indicate a potential disk device error.

File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\CX32CQ17.dll
-----------------
This is a file from CONEXANT associated with HD Audio device.  So I uninstalled the program via Control Panel>Programs and Features.
And windows immediately downloaded a new audio HD Driver from Conexant.
File CX32CQ17.dll is no longer on my system.

Also confirmed that this version of the Conexant driver software installed matches the latest driver from Lenovo for my T410.

So now I am waiting to see if my problems are cleared up.

I will give that a shot.

I did run a long memory test overnight that came up clean.

Re: Thinkpad T410 and intermittent BSOD Windows 7

WINDFT is not meant to run on your primary operating system drive. It would not even list my laptop drive as being able to be tested. Unfortunate. Will look for other possibilities.
