Thinkpad T430s - Touchpad buttons suddenly not working

Hi, The touchpad on Thinkpad T430s is suddenly stopped working (unsing windows 10).  I can move the cursor but the bottoms are not responding).   I have updated/rollbacked the driver, BIOS, Windows, etc.. Still not working. Smiley Sad(((
I am now using a mouth and it's working.  Does this mean my touchpad is forever gone?  Is there a way to fix?  Please advice.  Many thanks in advance!

Re: Thinkpad T430s - Touchpad buttons suddenly not working

I would boot into the BIOS and hit F9 to load setup defaults after noting any special settings I may have updated previously.  Then, if that didn't fix it, Check mouse settings in the control panel to see if something's turned off.  Then, boot with some sort of bootable DVD or thumb drive.  If the buttons work, your problem is software (operating system, drivers, etc.)

If it still is not fixed, I would try replacing the palmrest
