Has anyone experienced issues with a thinkpad 440s not powering on at all after a full charge, with and without the battery? My T440s was working fine two days ago and now won't even power on.
Here's what I've tried:
- with and without the battery
- original charger that works
- different charge that works (from a different laptop)
I don't mean to vent here but I called technical support and they simply said "give us $650 and maybe we'll fix it". Seeing how this is my company's first Lenovo laptop (we were all Dell equipment), this will be our last with how I was treated so far. A company as big as Lenovo should do a better on their customer service. They should be ashamed of how they brush their customers aside.

Can you please try few more troubleshooting steps as given below:
Remove the battery and AC adapter
Remove the hard drive and wlan/wwcan cards
Remove both RAM modules
Re attach the AC adapter and boot
If you don't hear a series of loud beeps it probably means a hardware issue.
