Yes, you can, but make sure to follow user guide though:
If you damage your device during the process, then you'll lose the warranty. If device will be damaged, because of use of incompatible part or wrong installation, then you also may lose your warranty. And any replaced part obliviously isn't covered by Lenovo's warranty.
On website below you'll find compatible parts with their FRUs:
For some of parts (e.g. keyboards or memory modules) there are actuall photos with vendor names. If you won't be able to get the part from Lenovo, you may try to look for exactly the same module on the maket.

I also upgraded the RAM of my T460 to 16GB and just after I bought it had the best FHD screen put in (much brighter), I admit, I have a VERY good pc now and I hope to keep it for as long as I'm not tempted too much to buy the new T480, hehe. I always seem to forget how good this machine is, I'm addicted to searching for novel things but in the end I know I won't easily find a better pc. Lenovo, CONGRATULATIONS, you make the best pc's, just make sure to ALWAYS install good bright screens.
