I bought this back in 2017. It has been a great computer until couple months ago. The computer suddenly froze, and I had to force turn it off. When I turned it on again, it just won't boot into Windows. I did not install new softwares/applications for quite a while. I ran built in diagnostics, and everything seems fine. I can get into BIOS setting by hitting F1. I created a Linux bootable USB, and the computer can boot into Linux, where I can get access to my documents saved on Windows. Since I have backed up my important files, I thought I can reimage Windows. I have created a USB recovery key, but it didn't work-- I pressed F12 to tell computer to run the recovery program saved in my USB, it had windows logo and a spinning circle of dots for few seconds, and then the screen becomes total black.
Folks, any advice? Thanks for your time and help.

Welcome to the community forums.
Looks like the Windows has been corrupted. Since the recovery back that you created did not work, we suggest contacting our local support here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/supportphonelist to request a Windows Recovery USB. You may also check if the laptop is eligible for a Lenovo Digital Download Recovery Service by checking the serial number on this link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/lenovorecovery. Let us know how it goes.
