Hi, I have a thinkpad T570, I inserted the sim but I don't see the "cellular" entry in the windows 10 network settings. How come? does that mean I don't have the SIM function?

Did you buy the WWAN option? What is your complete MTM? Machine type model number? Should be on bottom of laptop by serial number. Don't post serial number here. IF you bought it then it maybe a software or hardware issue. IF you didn't buy then it can't work since its missing.
If you input below you can see if it came with WWAN from factory or not.

You need a WWAN modem in order to make this function to work. There are two (three) modules available for your device:
Not all devices are WWAN ready - they don't have antennas for the modem (you have to dissasembly your device to check it). If your device have antennas, then after installing the modem, WWAN feature will be available for your device.
