Thnkpad T460 Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

I have a Thinkpad T460 that 80% of the time sit's on a docking station. Since yesterday the bluetooth disconnects itself. I always use a keyboard and a speaker but for the last 48 hours I can only use them for 1-3 minutes then they both stop working and cannot reconnect themself automatically, I have to pair them again.

The computer/windows state that they are still connected but they are unresponsive. I try them both on a different PC and they work fine. It have the same behaivor in and out of the docking. So far I have try:

1. Unpair and pair both devices.

2. Update the bluetooth driver.

3. Remove keyboard and speaker from device manager. And install them again.

4. Roll back the bluetooth driver (since it was already up to date).

5. Uninstall and DELETE the bluetooth driver.

 

I also review the power options to see if there was a settings causing this but could not find any settings causing this.

Any thoughts?

Device is still under warranty, can bluetooth be replace under warranty?

I am having the same thing with 3 users. All started this week. All are T460's.

 

Latest Windows update is over 10days old.

I have uninstaleld and re-installed teh Bluetooth adpater

I have tested with other Bluetooth Mice

I have updated Bluetooth drivers

 

In each case they will connect for a few seconds to a couple of minutes, then stop working. Windows 10 (1607) will show the mouse as still connected.

Same behaivor here. I dont want to do a factory reset.

And it's good to know I am not alone. So it seems that Lenovo should be responsible for this.

This seems to resolve it in my office as well. Atleast with 1 of the 3 that have had the issue I have managed to get a chance to test with.

 

I stil find it odd that it popped up as an issue for all of use in this thread, and that thread in the same week.

UPDATE: it seems to have started disconnecting again a few hours later.

We havent changed our drivers and some people have had their machiens for months. On old and new drivers this still is an issue.

Do you mean if you roll back to driver version 19.50.1.5, the problem still exists? I tried several times, and the bluetooth works with version 19.50.1.5 but not with the latest 19.70.0.100.  I didn't update my driver either for a long time, but I checked the event viewer and found there is an update on July 26th at 9AM, but I wasn't using my laptop at all at that time. The only explanation is some background update.

Roll back did not work for me. It eventually starts with the same behaivor
