Trouble with F5521gw broadband networking/T420s

Hello all,

I'm having a lot of trouble with my WWAN module F5521gw: although the card connects just fine to the provider (T-mobile Germany) via "Access connection" (IP and everything is assigned just fine), no traffic is going through that device!

Whenever i unplug my network cable and disable WLAN, no internet connectivity is available anymore, although the WWAN is up, running and connected. As soon as i try to ping anything or open a web page in the browser - nothing happens.

--> What can I do? I am really desparate, as i have no idea on what to do...

Thanks for any hints!

Regards,

Frank

Re: Trouble with F5521gw broadband networking/T420s

Hello Frank,

It is really helpful to have WWAN. As you are unable to use it.

Kindly make the connection and put the username and password also the connect number

I suggest you to install the WWAN driver and install firmware.

Kindly download WWAN driver from the mentioned below web link.

http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/83wo14ww.exe

Kindly download the WWAN firmware from the mentioned below web link.

http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/83wr05ww.exe

Hope, this will resolve the issue.

Best Regards,

Tanuj

What operating system are you using, and what version of Access Connection?
