I seem to be having an issue with my Thinkpad T470p. I've had it for about a year and a few months ago, all the 3 USB ports stopped working and so did the integrated camera. It would work at times and then stop working. For the past 2 weeks, everything has completely failed. So far I've done the following:
-I've reset the BIOS to default settings and still there is no change.
-The USB ports are enabled in BIOS settings as well.
-Fast startup is diabled
-The autosuspend for USB devices has been disabled in the power settings as well
-All drivers have been updated using the Lenovo System Updates
-This is a fresh install of Windows 10 so there is no previous state that I can go back to. (It wasn't working when I was running Ubuntu either even with all the right drivers installed.)
-Troubleshooting cannot seem to find a fix for the error either
One weird thing though is that my WD Elemnts HDD works fine when plugged in to any of the USB ports but other than that nothing else works.
Any and all help will be much appreciated. My warranty expired just before these issues started so I don't really think I can get it repaired by Lenovo services.

What other plug-in devices have you tried? It is wierd that other plug-in devices fail. Have you installed Lenovo Vantage to install Lenovo drivers?

So I installed Lenovo Vantage and it did an update but nothing changed. It says that everything is up to date. My camera and bluetooth still don't work and neither do the USB ports. As for what kind of devices I've tried, just the usual USB sticks like a SanDisk one and optical mouse and a wired keboard. None of them work. I used Lenovo System update to update my computer as well so that's all up to date.
With Vantage I ran a hardware check on the Motherboard and the Pci Express sytem and it returned that everything is normal. I'm still clueless as to what's going wrong where.
Thanks a lot!

Confirm the BIOS settings are reasonable. (under config/USB) You want UEFI support and 3.0 mode to be on. Look in the device manager and see if a USB hub shows up as a problem device. Try uninstallking the USB hubs and restart to reload drivers.

Did all that. Unistalled the drivers and restarted. Checked the BIOS settings as well. Everything is as it should be.
In Device Manager, I see the error message as mentioned in the title. Unknown USB Device (device descriptor request failed). My hard disk still works fine when plugged in though but not anything else. And I also don't have the Bluetooth and camera options showing up in Device manager. They never did even after the fresh install on Windows 2 weeks ago.

What other devices have you plugged into the USB ports? I assume you know that the camera and bluetooth also are bluetooth devices. Does the microphone work?

So other than SanDisk USB drives and Logitech optical mouse I have tried my phone. While my phone charges I cannot access files on my phone which I used to be able to do previosuly.
And I did not know the camera was a bluetooth device. But I ran the Bluetooth Troubleshooter and the message it gave was that "Your device does not have bluetooth capability" which is wrong since it does have and I've connected to bluetooth devices previously. And Bluetooth and Camera are enabled in BIOS config as well.
And yes the microphone does work.

I believe that the microphone, camera and bluetooth are all hooked to the same hub.

Okay I checked my microphone once again and it definitely doesn't work as well as it previously used to. So right now I'm clueless as to how to fix this.
My bluetooth also doesn't seem to appear under Microsoft Radio Bus Enumeration no matter how many times I install the drivers from the Lenovo site.

If it's a bad hub, you are looking at a motherboard replacement
