I don't understand why its taking so long for the updates from MS are taking so long to install on Windows 10. There aren't a lot as I am doing them as they come out each month or in between. Retart process can take half an hour or infinity (I power off and restart myself because it seems like nothing is happening.)
Other than what seems to be slow from time to time the system runs ok.

You will love the reason....
The T520 is not supported by Lenovo on Windows 10 ( not tested, no drivers, etc.). So search as it might, it can likely not find the drivers. It should eventually finish.Check here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht103535
I installed a T520 with Win10 over the weekend (with the NVIDEA video adapter). At first is was a train wreck. I had put an SSD in it about a year ago so that helped the install and running of Win10 on the system. So far, once it ran Windows Updated, it was better. The display drivers for the Intel 4000 video are the beginning of the problems. When opening a Window, the new window opens behind the active open windows. There are many other quirks too and missing devices/drivers. THere are others online in forums that have been successful getting it to run. How many devices on the system one loses remains to be seen.
The end user (family member) is not going to be able to deal with it as they come up so back to Win 7 for now. I removed it (cloned the Win 10 to another SSD for later playing).
