I have taken delivery of a brandnew T480s with 128GB SSD. Installation worked fine, the machine is working under Win10 Pro.
Now I am trying to upgrade the 128GB SSD to a 2TB Intel 660p. I took an Acronis True Image Backup from the 128GB SSD and restored the image to the 2TB SSD. The splash screen with the Lenovo icon and the rotating dots comes on, but after about 15 seconds, the machine simply reboots. The boot does not complete successfully. The reboot process continues indefinitely.
Can someone give me a pointer where I might be going wrong? Use a different imaging program?
Thanks a lot for any help.

As far as I know from my experience with internal storage upgrade, it doesn't work well with any data migration software.
The best option that worked for me several times is OS reinstallation.
When you remove your old SSD and insert a new one, it's better to install a new Windows. And if you have any data on old SSD, then connect it to your laptop via an external USB adapter and copy your old data to new storage.
