I bought a T480 Lenovo in Brazil. In the specification on the selling page says it has a Até 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz
I Want to upgrade the RAM, but it actually came with Até 16GB DDR4 2666 MHz. I looked into Kingstone website, and RAM for Lenovo are all 2400.
This is the item: Pc4-2666v-sa1-11
Can't even find this serial anywhere to sell. Just in not well known stores on the web.

Hello there, EdgardS!
Welcome to the Lenovo group discussion.
Based from the reference guide https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_T480?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6 of the Lenovo ThinkPad T480, the laptop comes with a 2400MHz DDR4, dual-channel capable and it can hold up to 32GB Max of RAM. We recommend purchasing the same type of frequency for the RAM, so the laptop will run and work properly.

For some reason, Brazil have installed a 8gb 2666 memory, not respecting the specs of Lenovo T480, that the memory is 8gb 2400.
Because of that I need hep undertanding what kind of memory I have to buy to upgrade from 8 to 16gb.
Since lenovo works with 2400, but have installed 2666. Should I buy a 2666 or 2400 8gb memory?

Either will work

I decided to buy a Kingston RAM mentioned here:
A 2400 memory will have to work with the one that came, 2666, wrong on my notebook. For a notebook so expensive, I think it should at least follow the specs.
Anway, It's done.
