Use Hardware OpenGL on T480 with UJD 620 Dedicated Graphics Card

I have a T480 with a UHD-620 dedicated graphics card and I'd like to use hardware OpenGL when using SolidWorks 2016. When I go to option>performance, I see that the "Use Software OpenGL" is checked and greyed out. Running software OpenGL is too slow to render the dynamic highlighting effectively. You can see the model edges change color very slowly which inteferes with other operations.

I can run SolidWorks in Safe Mode and it forces hardware OpenGL and SolidWorks runs just fine but I loose all my custom settings needed to be productive. I've worked with with Intel (Link to Intel BLOG) and Hawkridge and it appears to be an issue with the Lenovo graphics driver. I've tried several drivers and have had no luck.

I notice that others at the SolidWorks Performance Test website (LINK) running T480's with UHD-620's and I think they may not have this issue becuase they have a pretty good score.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
