Hello and, as always, thanks in advance for any help. I've had a ThinkPad T430 23445GU for a couple of weeks now (my first) and so far am very happy with my purchase. I'm running a clean install of Windows 7 and have most everything set up as I'd like. My question: does anyone know if it's possible--and if so how--to use the on board Bluetooth without installing Lenovo's 160MB "Bluetooth With Enhanced Data Rate Software"? I'd only need the Bluetooth to run a mouse, or maybe connect a phone, and thus see no reason for Lenovo's entire software suite. Thanks again for any input.

Hey there LouieChuckyMerr,
As I've been scouring the internet for Bluetooth drivers for a few machines (mostly windows 8), it really looks like that is driver is your best bet, and as far as I've been able to find, is your option for Bluetooth on your T430. While it may have a bit more to it than just a typical driver, overall I think you'll find it'll work smoothly for you. Hope this helps.

Many thanks for your reply Tout1108G, I really appreciate it. Since I can't justify installing a 160MB suite simply to use a mouse, I reckon that I'll keep searching for a less bloated solution. As my OS is windows 7 maybe I'll have more luck than you have , and if I find anything I'll return here and post it. Thanks again.
