Can the T460 support using BOTH the mini-Displayport and HDMI ports at the same time to drive two monitors for an extended desktop?

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.
As I understand that you have query regarding Mini-Displ
Assuming they're both outputs then it is very likely they'll function simultaneously and independently.

I have the same question. Just wondering if you were able to get the HDMI and mini display port to work at the same time. My goal is to have two monitors connected to my Lenovo T460.
Thank you for any advice!

Yes, this did work for me.
I bough this item:
item number=12742 : Mini DisplayPort 1.1 to HDMI® Adapter with Audio Support
from monoprice dot com and was able to connect 2 HDMI cables (one in miniDP port and other in HDMI port) to my Lenovo T460 for driving 2 additional displays. The displays I am using are older and only have DVI inputs, so I bought these HDMI-to-DVI adapters as well:
item number=2029 DVI-D Single Link Male to HDMI® Female adapter
In Windows dispaly settings, make sure you choose to "extend" desktop, not duplicate desktop. If you only duplicate, then only the native HDMI output on your laptop will work with the connected monitors; the display connected to the miniDP output just went blank when attempting to duplicate main display across both monitors. Your results may vary.
Hope this helps.

Hi, it was working for a morning, after I disconnected all the cables to go to a meeting, on return I'm only able to get one at a time to work, if both are connected then both monitors go off. Is there a setting that needs to be changed?
