I have a T400 with a 1440x900 display (according to device manager). Unfortunately I scuffed the screen and I would like to repalce it. My screen has the Matte finish, not glossy. How do I tell if I have a CCFL or LED screen? I searched the forum and I don't find any information on how I can tell. Thanks.

Based on seaching the forum, others that have it state it is LED, is that correct?

Do you know if this works for a refurbished Laptop as well? Or is it possible that they used a different screen and didn´t change the number?

I happen to be on my old T400 at the moment and my machine has LED back light, CCFL would have faded away years ago
Lenovo has used LED for a long time and I have seen DIY for earlier models to retrofit them with LED which does take some amount of work to do
The back light is along the bottom edge of the LCD, which has to be swapped, then the controller board has to be changed too, not easy but its been done
Considering a T41 is how old, cheaper to buy a newer machine on eBay.
