Currently I have x230, but need to invest in a new battery for it (some £40 for a genuine one) so not sure If I want to do that since I have had this laptop for a long time now and I'm kinda looking for a larger screen as well and extra battery run-time you get with the new series wouldn't be too bad either.
I have been waiting for a moment when the t450 drops in price and you can get one for around £300 now which still has got some 2+years warranty, and I can sell my x230 for some £200 probably. so sounds like a good very cheap upgrade...however...
I watched some video today where the guy had opened up a t450 and did and ssd/ram upgrade and It finally hit me- That laptop looks like some cheap chinese pokemon toy compared to x230 or t430 which I also have + it hasn't got the thinklight anymore and generally the t450 looked just very cheaply made.. I get it that it's slimmer and smaller but it just looked sooo cheaply made in the videos I saw
So I'm not too sure anymore if I want to even get the t450 because it looked like a cheap pokemon toy compared to x230/t430 I have
What about the t460 does it got better/more solid build quality than the t450 or they are about the same? I'm not looking at the t440 because I see the internet is full about reports about how bad they are.. Probably next year this time the t460 would cost some £300 as well if a new model gets released so I might as well wait for it to drop in price if I get something way better in build quality over the t450?
Also what about the screens? which one has got better screens the t450 or t460? for my x230 I'm OK with the screen, but for the t430 I have in house as well the screen sucks really bad.
Also what about battery life for t450 vs t460? any improvement or about the same? and what are some other pros/cons for t450 vs t460?
Thanks for reading all this huge wall of text

To me, the t450s feels more solid than the t450. T450s, T460 and T460s are available with fhd (1920x1080)
