Wifi Driver Issues

Hi,

I installed Windows 7 Utimate x64 on my Thinkpad T420s. Earlier it had Windows 8.1  x32 OS. To get the total memeory utilization I did so ( it has 4 GB memory )

After installing all the drivers using Lenovo System Update Utility, I found my WiFi driver is not installed properly. It does not detect when I browse through Computer --> Manage --> Device Manager also. I manually installed all the Wifi drivers available on the Lenovo site for my Thinkpad T420s also.

Before installing Windows 7, I got a screenshot of the drivers and Intel Centrino Advance - N 6205 drivers has not been installed though I used the System Upgrade Utility. What should I do to get my Wifi connectivity?

Thanks

Re: Wifi Driver Issues

Try pressing Fn+F5 and see if your wireless radio is disabled. Does the wireless LAN LED light up at all?

Re: Wifi Driver Issues

Hi,

When I press Fn + F5 I could see that the airplain mode is off ( screenshot is attached ). Wireless LAN LED doesn't lighup at all. Eventhough the bluetooth radio is powered on it doesn't activate Wifi.

Thanks
