Win7 64bit

I currently have 4GB RAM on my Lenovo Thinkpad T500. I've been using Win7 32bit but decided to dual boot with Win7 64bit, mainly to see if I see a diference having on OS that uses all 4GB. I'm also prepared to max the memory to 8GB if I decide to go soley with 64bit.

I'm basicily looking for insight for other users experience with 32bit vs 64bit. Most my apps will go either way. I'm not a big user of CAD or other memory hungry apps. I've read that 64bit is more secure. Is this true?

I appreciate any advice you may have.

Re: Win7 64bit

I preffer 64bit I don't know if its more secure or not ,PC are only secure as we the user make them. if you go with 64 & 8GB ram & get SSD you should have a fast T500
