2015-10-07, 11:37 AM

After upgrading to Windows 10 I have no on-screen Caps Lock indication.  The upgrade was from Windows 7.

Sounds like you need to install Lenovo Power Management driver:

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/migr-4gxpeg

It is a dependency of Lenovo On Screen Display.

Which specific system(s) have this problem?

What version of "Lenovo On Screen Display" is installed (look in Control Panel -> Programs)?

I'm still not seeing any obvious problem, but it's possible the on-screen display feature is disabled on your system.  Please check it:

1.  Right-click on desktop and choose "Display Settings"

2.  Scroll to bottom and click on "Advanced Display Settings"

3.  Scroll to bottom and click on "Display Adapter Properties"

4.  Click on the tab "On Screen Display"

5.  Make sure checkbox is checked "Enable on-screen display"

The OSD-checkbox is checked by me, and the OSD functions for screen brightness and sound is showing. But not caps lock.

With Win10, the OSD for screen brightness, sound volume, and sound mute comes from OS itself.

On Screen Display only handles OSD for caps lock, Fn lock, and mic mute.

I'm still not sure what this problem could be, but would you please try one more thing?

Create a new user, log in as that user, and see if the caps lock OSD works with the new user.

......been there, done that!

I created a new user and logged in. Strange enough, even as my log in is in Danish language, this new user comes up in english.

But the CapsLock OSD function does not work :smileyfrustrated:
